1998 - Did "The Lighthouse" chalk drawing for our second week ever of Seesalt summer student conferences at Fantasy Harbour's Savoy Theatre. This was one of the craziest and best summers of our ministry. After 12 summers at White Oak Conference Center, this was our first summer of doing Seesalt at Coastal Carolina University and the summer we did our original production "A Peace of '72" at Fantasy Harbour in Myrtle Beach. CCU's Wheelwright Auditorium was being renovated so we did most large group sessions at The Savoy Theatre where we were doing "A Peace of '72." So during our three weeks of Seesalt that summer, we did all of our morning ministry and recreation at CCU, then during the students' free time our staff/cast would make a quick dash to Fantasy Harbour to do an afternoon matinee (we did 9 shows a week during non-Seesalt weeks), and then we'd do evening Seesalt ministry at Fantasy Harbour (most well equipped theater/auditorium ever for worship services). It was crazy, but it worked great!

These two days led to us producing and doing "In Search of Love..." at "The Lighthouse" the next summer. Fortunately we had Shari Hunt, Robin Hunt, and Luke Justice with us to lead music. That spared me from playing guitar, but more importantly also meant some great experienced help for loading in/out and setting up and tearing down. That part was still pretty painful (and sometimes still is) but thankfully did OK on drawing itself. Thank you, Mike Baker.
